The Syli sewing pattern includes two variations. Both theĀ dress and the blouse are relaxed everyday garments with a loose fit.Ā They feature a gathered bodice, a shallow tuck across the chest, and a hemline that dips slightly longer in the back. The neckline is finished with binding with a back vent secured by ties. The calf-length dress has two deep tucks around the hemline of both the skirt and sleeves as well as in-seam side pockets. The Ā¾-length sleeves of the dress have gathered ends finished with binding and ties. The blouse is hip length and has straight Ā½-length sleeves with turned hems.

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
Choose a light to medium-weight, non-stretch fabric. Depending on the desired result, you can select either a low-drape fabric or a fabric with a little drape. Cotton, linen, Tencel and rayon shirtings and dress-weight fabrics are recommended.
This pattern comes with plenty of ease. Check the finished measurements for your size and, if necessary, select a size smaller than usually if you want the garment to be more fitted.
