Most custom orders are processed and ready for shipment within 10 to 14 business days. Specialized upholstery or large-scale window treatments may require additional time depending on fabric availability.
Do you offer local pickup for customers in Ottawa?
Yes, we offer free local pickup at our Ottawa warehouse. Simply select the 'Local Pickup' option at checkout, and we will notify you via email as soon as your order is ready.
Can I request fabric swatches before making a full purchase?
Absolutely. We recommend ordering swatches to ensure the color and texture match your home decor. Swatches are available for a small fee and ship via standard mail.
What is your return policy on cut-to-length fabrics?
Due to the personalized nature of our products, fabrics sold by the yard and custom-cut items are final sale. However, if there is a manufacturer defect or an error in your order, please contact us within 7 days for a resolution.
Are your textiles suitable for high-traffic areas?
Many of our fabrics are rated for heavy duty use. Please check the 'Double Rub' count in the product description; we recommend at least 15,000 for residential furniture and 30,000+ for commercial or high-traffic home settings.
How do I care for my Fabrications Ottawa products?
Care instructions vary by material. Most of our linens and cottons prefer cold water washing and air drying, while our velvets and embroidered silks are dry-clean only. Specific care labels are included with every shipment.
